The JLPT Exam Is Finally Here!

Posted December 4th, 2011 by Kimberly in Learning Japanese

Hey there folks! It’s that time we have all been waiting for!

Tomorrow is the JLPT Exam! For everyone that is going to   be taking it tomorrow, we would like to say:

「明日、日本語能力試験を受ける皆さんに、頑張ってください!」

“Everyone, good luck taking the JLPT!”

And just as a friendly reminder before you leave to take your test, please remember to bring the following:

– Test Voucher

– Photo I.D

– No. 2 or HB pencils

– an eraser

We hope that we have helped you prepare for this moment with our tips, tricks and strategies over the past couple of years.

Now go out there and show the world your proficiency in Japanese!

After all, you have worked so hard to get to where you are!

Enrico and I will keep you posted on our personal experiences and how we did once we get the results.

Ganbatte!

I would probably phrase that as 「明日、日本語能力試験を受ける皆さんに、頑張ってください!」

Apart from the slight rephrasing (narrowing down to everyone taking the JLPT and then wishing those people good luck), there’s an important correction: the verb you use for “take” as in “taking an exam” is 受ける, not 取る.

Good luck Kimberly. I’ll be trying my hardest, too. =)

Thanks for the rephrasing Enrico! I forgot about the verb “ukeru!”

Wow, it’s a good thing that is not on the exam I’m taking! Ahaha. I still get some of my verbs mixed up!

    Good luck to you too!
