The podcast about learning Japanese.

Episode 1 – So You Want to Learn Japanese?

Posted August 8th, 2008 by Enrico in Podcast Episodes

This is the first official episode of the podcast.

In this episode, we discuss the things you may want to know if you’re considering taking the plunge and starting your own journey to learn Japanese.  Plus, we give some tips and tricks on how to get started, even on a tight budget.

Cast: Enrico Bianco, Kimberly Fraser, Jonathan Gardiner, Mary Kita

I’d like to take a moment in this post to credit Michael for his absolutely awesome editing work.  He was like some sort of audio ninja, assassinating umm’s and ahh’s (among other issues) throughout the entire ~30 minute recording.

Are the files for download somewhere so one can put them on a pertable player?

I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of conversation in this Podcast and as beginner learner of the Japanese language found it very inspiring. I really wish I had a group of like-minded people to engage with locally like yours. I will certainly be listening to more, thanks very much :)

Thanks Kaden! We hope you enjoy the rest of the episodes from the first season of the podcast. As I wrote in my post about New Year’s resolutions this year, I have every intention of producing a second season of the show, with new guests and (hopefully) even better content than before. Please stay tuned!
